It's who you become on the journey that counts.

I invite you to do the same. That is.. take responsibility for everything. Why? Because ultimately you are. We are all one and part of God. I believe this and have felt and experienced it on a number of occasions, sometimes only for a few seconds at a time. It is the truth. This means taking responsibility for the war in Iraq, taking responsibility for all the hungry children in the world, and on the flip side, also taking responsibility for all the beauty in the world, the happiness, the laughter and the joy. When you take responsibility for everything, then there is no-one to blame, or complain about or anything to rationalise; because you are responsible for it all, everything. There is also no-one to forgive, apart from yourself, because we have chosen everything at a very deep level. And if you are wondering why you chose the abusive father, or the painful dis-ease, it was so you could learn from it, and ultimately evolve. Everything that happens, we choose it, for it to serve us in some way, the movie 'Signs', with Mel Gibson, demonstrates this truth in such a cool and imaginative way. If the only thing you remember from the movie, is guys sitting round with metal foil around their heads, so the aliens couldn't read their mind, watch it again! Everything is perfect, even the imperfection, and everything serves us ultimately, and we are responsible for all of it. Isn't that just wonderful. When I first had this realisation, it blew my mind. Now I focus on it, and cultivate it in myself. The total realisation of this, at every level of our being, is our ultimate goal. The easy thing is to refute this, and say that I am insane. I invite you to meditate on it. Focus on it, and see it expand into reality and become your reality. Complete responsibility, there is nothing more empowering, liberating and enlightening! |
